Cleaned up around the garages on this muggy day. Decided to pop some steel with my Ruger American Ranch Rifle in 5.56 NATO. Bought two a local gun shop, they had them for $335 apiece. I replaced the stock with shorter compact stock for my small framed better half.

Awesome day of shooting CW5 Jack Cardwell How many acres do you have to shoot into Jack, if you don't mind me asking?

40 acres total. Dedicated rifle and pistol ranges set up. The hill behind ranges is taller than a light pole.

Nice, due to my hearing loss I gave all my long guns to my youngest son, even with muffs I stand a chance of losing what little hearing I have left. Enjoyed trap and skeet!!!

After shooting the M-60 all the time I lost some hearing too, or maybe it was those 106's going off by the fox hole.

SGT (Join to see) - I am sure they had a lot to do with it. I had sudden hearing loss just after Hurricane Ike, was cutting a board with circular saw and left ear kind of "puffed" and lost 65% in both ears immediately. Got hearing aids and two years later it came back, then--- got a concealed permit and after 8 of us had shot 50 rounds (with hearing protection) I could not hear a thing and it has not come back. Take care Brother.
