I was determined to run a lot this afternoon. Set the treadmill for 6.20 miles [A 10K].

Congrats! I ran a 5k last weekend, first time I ran more than two miles since my last APFT in July 2015. Finished 19 seconds behind my 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend...... after I caught up to them when they stopped to walk. I ran through them, they sprinted ahead. I had no Sprint, just a 56 year old plod ahead, please God don't let my heart fail me now pace......but it was a lot of fun and I will do it again. With a little bit of practice next time. The 50-60 age group is fierce competition. I had a hard walking for the next couple of days.

Game on, 10k it is!
