An Advertisement, it brings up an important topic for new gun owners though. I have hearing aids that I should use.

I have a set of AXIL Ghost Strike Extreme earplugs, and they work pretty well.

SGT (Join to see) I have muffs too, but they don't work very well when I am shooting my AR.

These days I wear hearing protection all the time when I am using any sort of power tool or shooting. But I spent may years, working around high levels of fan noise and gensets, not to mention small boat ops with zero hearing protection ... It wasn't generally available in the mid 70s - early 80s.
