Frankly, I don't think praying before school and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance is the reason there are shootings. There are shootings because parents aren't being parents. They are dropping their kids off at school and letting the teacher be the parent.

LT Brad McInnis You can say that again. I have some stories that would curl your hair. I think the reason there are so many shooting is the media glamorizes it by making it the top story then you have some kid who wants to go out in a blaze of glory and be famous for it.

None of those things were removed...so...prayer in school wasn't removed kids can still pray and they still say the pledge. It's just not mandatory.
