Back in the day when it was lawful to be swatted at school by the school vice principal for disciplinary action back in the day where everybody didn't get trophies in school and when good discipline was allowed before leftism fired teachers for failing students.

CPL Douglas Chrysler yes, back in the 1970s my middle School in once conservative California under Governor Reagan allowed administrators to swat kids with a paddle. This paddle had holes drilled in it to make it more effective a tool to inflict pain for those kids who needed tough love. Yes, it was legal back then. Spare the rod spoil the child, remember that?
