RallyPoint Members, Connection, and Friends. How soon we forget!
I send this message out with grave concern for our country and our freedoms. I try not to be political on RallyPoint, but this movement across America to defund our men and women in Blue needs to stop. Watch this movie from the Boston Marathon Bombing and watch the bravery from men and women during 911 and then ask yourself, "Can we afford to be a country without "law and order" or a country without men and women who will put their lives on the line to save others when the S**T hits the fan?"
There will always be a few bad apples in every organization, the police, the fire department, the emergency rooms, the military services, civilian organizations, and in the public sectors. They need to be prosecuted to the letter of the law and removed from those organizations.
Don't judge these organizations by those who cross the line between right and wrong. Watch these movies and embrace those who have sacrificed, not only in their First Responder duties, but those who've served this country in the last two wars, and previous wars this nation has fought in.
Wake up America and let's keep this nation safe through these services and first responders. Share this movie with those to wish to destroy our national safety.
Look at what happen in Iraq when we took down the military that provided "Law and Order" in that country (even if it was good, bad, or indifferent)! When the military was disbanded there was no more "Law and Order," but instead it turned in to utter chaos. Learn from history.
I look for forward to all positive remarks and reach out to your communities and support your local and state First Responders! Look at the sacrifices they've made during COVID-19.
I'm sure there will be some negative comments, so keep them professional in nature.

Agreed. As a former first responder (EMS) it is a tough life and having the recipients of our care turning against us is not a great place to be.

Cognitive dissonance occurs when a person holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values.
Why is it okay to object to some of one group being painted the same as all of them while for others it is perfectly acceptable? It is either okay for all or none.
In the case of our police officers, the majority of them are willing to put their lives on the line every day for people they don't know. Not everyone is willing to do that. And we need to support them not defund them. Those who don't hold to the standard need to be removed just like we do in the military.
