Went old school this afternoon. I shot my Smith and Wesson Model 65. 3 inch barrel, round butt, stainless steel. Chambered in.357 Mag. I shoot .38 Special in it. My carry rounds are in the picture. Federal 158 grain Nyclads.
Great stress relief!

Sweet looking pistol! I still break out my Colt Trooper once in a while. It was my carry gun for many years, back when I had to open-carry.

I have a Colt Border Patrol, basically a Colt Trooper. It was my Father's issue gun for a couple years. Then his Agency went back to Smith and Wesson. Each time they changed models, they could buy their carry gun.

CW5 Jack Cardwell Cool beans! I've had my Trooper since about 1983, so I have shot a LOT of ammo through it.

I have a Colt Trooper Mk III 6" barrel in .357 Magnum. My uncle gave it to me after I retired in 1996.

I have my 40 acres and my own range so I can let off steam when I need to. Lately the rain has put a damper on things!

What kind of rounds are those? I don’t recognize them. What do they do?

CW5 Jack Cardwell - thank you for the info. Sounds great, too bad it is discontinued.
