Who uses "extra high capacity mags" in their AR's and & AK platforms?
I keep seeing bigger and bigger mags 40 rounders, 60 rounders, 100 Round Drum Mags. How many of you choose to use these at your local range or out at the back 40. I find them to be cumbersome and also a PITA to carry around. Your thoughts?

Ammo cost's to much to blow through a hundred round magazine. 20's and 30's are just fine.

My AR-pistol came with on 30 round mag, and that seems to work well, so I have bought four more 30 round mags. It is also a reminder to not waste ammo when I go to the range.

My go to is 30 rounders but I had a buddy in the Recce platoon that would have a PMAG D60 drum on his M4 once we hit the DZ. I almost bought one but they sold out before my purchase was complete
