Swapping our present system of "Democratic Capitalism", where everyone can be a capitalist by buying stock or starting a business, for Bernie's "Democratic Socialism", where everyone has to do what the government tells him, does not have much appeal.

Sgt Albert Castro Do you mean Democrat Corporatism? They want control of the corporations with their hands in the tills and in the pockets of their consumers.

CW3 Harvey K. - I've never heard of a "democratic capitalism" economic theory. We live in a Republic. Just sayin.

Cpl (Join to see) - No brother. I was asking Chief Keck if he would explain "Democratic Capitalism". Scratching my head. Never heard of it.

Sgt Albert Castro - If becoming a "capitalist" is open to everyone who wishes to own stock or establish a business, and not restricted to only a few "fat cats", or controlled by the state, that is what I would call "Democratic Capitalism".
I think that describes the economic environment in our Republic.
