Do you think white privilage exists? If yes, what’s some examples of it and what’s your definition of it. I think it’s a made up phrase that attempts and sometimes succeeds at shamming or guilting white people. Whites don’t have white only scholarships, minorities do. 2 students, 1 white...1 minority apply for college, white is more qualified, but minority gets accepted. White privilage is fake.

CPT (Anonymous) - Ohh thats not true, your just attempting to use it in the argument to bolster your case. I have been followed around by cops in predominantly Black Neighborhoods.......why do you suppose that is? Was it my law abiding behavior or do you think the cops felt I was there for some mischevious reason? Been pulled over by Cops in the South for no good reason other than look inside the car. Do I call that racial profiling or car profiling? Been pulled aside at the border because of the College decal on my car? Is that ageist profiling? I think African Americans are over sensitized in some cases and lump everything into the harrassment category when in effect it does happen to all races. Cops make mistakes sometimes in gauging human behavior.....is it always harrassment, no I don't think so. Some of it is misjudgement but I will accept it when it happens to me if I know it keeps me safer.
Also, I could choose to live in a 90% racially white neighborhood in North Texas but instead live in one that is diverse and only 40-50% white. How many liberals preaching "white privilege" can say the same about where they live? How many liberals have even been in a predominantly black neighborhood for 100% legal reasons....that is. Not many. So back to the ivory tower........whats next?

I think there are aspects to it, but it is over played. There are always people who get breaks, born to connections, born to wealth etc. they have priviledge also. Take what you are given and do what you can with it. Some soar beyond what we can imagine and some sit and feel sorry for themselves. Opportunities exist regardless.
