Which APFT and AR 670-1 standards is this SM held to? Hair is not in accordance with male grooming standards. Is this why this SM was relocated to Washington? As leaders, we need clear guidance on how to enforce the regulations (which are not being enforced), as this becomes a subject that will become more and more common.

Whatever the DEERS gender says it what applies. If it says Male, then male standards and if DEERS says female then it is female standards. This information was pushed out when transgender soldiers were authorized to stay in. Should be a MILPER Message as well. Also SSG King is on RP if you really wanted to know from the source.
