Does this really surprise anyone? I'm waiting for the announcement, any day now, that BUD/s / Delta selection standards will be lowered. You know it's coming. And that's just f'n baffling. It is scientific FACT that there are biological differences between men and women in muscle density, bone density, and respiratory capacity. That's SCIENCE. Not misogyny. Anyway, nice article. As a female vet, you're a lot harder for the pundits to dismiss out of hand, on this subject.

Not going to happen. They had two Already and both failed one in Officer Pre BUD's and other enlisted SWCC. The officer failed out first Day the SWCC did not make it. So I think NSW will hold fast same with CAG or DELTA and or Task Force Green. I don't see those dropping.

After looking into this and reading the standard was never used before 2012, so all the officers before this are not qualified under new standard. This is why BDU's will not lower standard or do away with Hell week qualification that has been in place sense 1943.I have asked SEAL friends I have and that is what they told me, they will never take that qualification out of training, because of all before them did it.

This doesn't come as a surprise to anyone with combat arms experience. Or at least it shouldn't.
