No sweat, it's the Yellen effect. Raising the interest rates by 3/4ths of a point is a blip. I'm hanging in.

MCPO Roger Collins - I prefer Silver as the ratio is still skewed and coming around slowly and it is usually gaining ground over 3 to 1 over gold.....I don't listen to people, I watch hat is happening in my particular field if investment (hard assets)

Alan K. - Relying on memory, when I first started investing seriously, gold was $300 per ounce, it's now a little under $1200 per ounce. 400% sounds good, but that was in 1977. Look at what the DOW has done since then.
