Remembering my brother Cpl Lee Burk, USMC. Today would have been my oldest brothers birthday. A Vietnam war Veteran who left in one piece but when he came back he not the same person. He became an alcoholic to deal with his PTSD and attempted a suicide on his 40th birthday. Shot himself in the back of the head and lived almost as if a vegetable with most of his memory gone. He live another thirteen years but with very little, if any quality of life. You are gone brother but not forgotten. I hope you are resting in peace.

Cpl Vic Burk So Sad to Hear of Your Loss, Hard to Chase away some of those Boogeymen from Our Past in the Military Sometimes.

Indeed. Too many came home reliving images that they can never unsee and there was litle to no help for those who returned with problems. I'm praying for God to lift this from your spirt, my brother and friend. :)
