Just another reason to love Costco, already my favorite place in the world. Corporate ethics in action all day, every day.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Exactly right. And they're rewarded for it with the dollars their competitors get through chicanery and crappy advertising.

Tough to get in as an employee because everyone and their grandmother wants in! lol. But once you're in, it's a great place to stay. From what my friends tell me. I've been trying for 3 years to get hired by them!

Use of the tax code to modify legal behavior is EVIL and the beginning of tyranny.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I am TRULY triggered. The government camel is in my tent up to its hind quarters. Please explain to me the guiding philosophical position that justifies it being there. Fair warning, I will ask you to explain if I feel that same philosophy justifies some activity which the left traditional favors.

The too principles involved are that the goverment is supposed to protect people and that the cost of medical care in the long run and in thebgene r all public ends up being funded by the goverment. Sin Taxes have been the norm in the US since shortly after the founding with exist taxes on Whiskey this sin taxed expand to tobacco not that long afterward. This Taxes existed befor we the founding and have roots in the Roman empire. The laws are dumb but not particual evil.
This was a decsion of a democratical elected goverment that broke no laws and.stayed within the relevent Constitutions. A dumb law but in no way evil.

I bet you live in a state that Taxes alcohol? Is your state evil?

The government has no mandate to protect people from themselves. If so, according to Stanford University, the following recreational activities are a substantial source of potential injury and cost billions in medical bills and lost productivity.
Basketball. ...
Baseball and softball. ...
Bicycling. ...
Football. ...
Ice hockey. ...
In-line and roller skating. ...
Skateboarding. ...
Sledding or toboggan.

When do we institute punitive taxation on the supporting equipment and facilities?

A State can engage in an evil practice, without being overall evil. But Yes I think my state is evil.

stupid liberal cities are using all these sugar taxes and its backfiring on them stupid liberals and fat people ,who probably smoke and drink ,who make these rules but don't exercise. I drink up to a liter a day of dr. Pepper and I am not overweight. I also walked quite a bit because I work for a courier company. I also have good genes

It is sad how stupid politician try to mandate these rules just to make me money when it could be as simple as getting their kid off the PlayStation an Xbox and doing some exercise. Also, some people are born obese and there's not much you can do about it. Some kids look like a liberal Michael Moore and they're born that way even if they walked 5 miles a day! Stupid politicians don't know better they just want to make excuses to take your money.
