Hasn't the military known about this for years? I remember going through AIT in 2008 where they talked about the AT-4 specifically. And how firing too many wasn't too good for your noggin. I had a DS who claimed he fired 15 to dispose of them who wasn't all that right in the head for temperament and memory.

I'm sure that it can damage the soldier. I'm also sure that not having those weapons available can result in the death of soldiers...
