Since 1980, administrative staff in America's Schools have increased by over 80 percent. This occurred as the Federal Government wrested control over education from the local school boards and created a long money chain that goes from the Taxpayer - to the Federal Government - to the State - to the County and City - to the School District - to the School - to the Classroom. Along the way each organization takes a "Hidden Tax" off the top for their own "Organizational Costs". I've seen stats showing that less than 1 out of 5 US education dollars actually go to Teacher Salaries, School Equipment, and School Buildings (including maint, electricity, gas, internet, and water).

Sounds like a union no show job. The federal government needs to get out of the education business and let states run their own affairs.

I agree with those stats and would add the scam of the states passing lottery for education that is a farce in terms of what actually goes to education. Again, the public got duped.

Go figure, something else that the Federal government has screwed up. There is very little good that has come from the Federal Government getting into things at the state level. More money is wasted by the Feds. About 10 years ago I read a report that when a local company comes into an area, every dollar they spend creates around 3.5 dollars over a month. Every dollar the Feds spends actually goes down to .75 because of cost, over-runs and sloppy handling.
