I find that most Warrant Officers are forgotten about until their Commanders see that a pacing item has been down for more than 48 hours. I feel that including us in OPD would make us more effective both as Leaders and as Technicians/Pilots. Showing that we are a part of the team makes us want to better that team. I am not speaking for the entire Corps, these are just my thoughts.

Ryan, I also attend the OPDs in my unit and same as above, they usually don't pertain to Warrants too much.  Yes, we are becoming more and more pulled in the direction of officers rather than Technicians, but they usually talk about officer history and PL type tasks.

Ryan,
In my Squadron, I attend our OPDs. With that said a lot of whats talk about doesn't really pertain to Warrants. Where it benefits me is it gives me insight of the thought process of O-grades.

Many of us that are recent graduates (techs) have been tasked with PL positions and even XO positions in lieu of our battalion duties as technicians. It's rather taxing but keeps us busy.

I DO NOT have an MCO, MCS, or BMO. I am a new Warrant in a deactivating unit. My duties include ensuring the Soldiers are working at maximum capacity, tracking down all delinquent services, ensuring everything is -10/-20 for turn-in/transfer, making sure command maintenance is being conducted, ensuring we don't get gigged for environmental or recycling...etc. It's overwhelming at times but I do have a VERY supportive officer chain and have met some excellent Warrants that I can go to for help. I love a challenge!!!

I feel for you brother, but you have the "can-do" attitude to get it done. Good job and stay after it!

Ryan, if you need any help, I'm in 2 BCT. I was in a situation similar to yours and just recently got an MCO and MCS which took a lot off my shoulders. It was very taxing and at time, i would get frustrated with the unit. be careful not to overwork your troops because i know personnel is short and the never ending maintnenance along with task sometimes overwelms us and we may tend to forget our troops need a break and shown appreciation just as we do.
