Good Friday and Good R.E.D. Friday Brothers and Sisters!
It would appear that Mars Perseverance Mission Control is taking a brief reprieve over the Easter Holiday weekend, so in perusing some videos of Mars, I came across this video, which is a compilation of what the European Space Agency's (ESA) Mars Express Orbiter has gleaned from it since its arrival in Mars orbit... This is a MARS you may never have visualized and it is beautiful and it is scarred, but nonetheless it is amazing!
Here is the narrative provided with the video:
"On 25 December 2003, ESA’s Mars Express entered orbit around the Red Planet. The spacecraft began returning the first images from orbit using its High Resolution Stereo Camera just a couple of weeks later, and over the course of its fifteen year history has captured thousands of images covering the globe.
This video compilation highlights some of the stunning scenes revealed by this long-lived mission. From breathtaking horizon-to-horizon views to the close-up details of ice- and dune-filled craters, and from the polar ice caps and water-carved valleys to ancient volcanoes and plunging canyons, Mars Express has traced billions of years of geological history and evolution."

Enjoy!

Jim Croce - Photographs and Memories
I'm a huge Croce fan, I always felt there should be more of him on here so I decided to contribute.
Thank you my space-exploration advocate friend Sgt (Join to see) for posting this video focused on the decade and one half of 'home' movies for Mars from ESA’s Mars Express back on Christmas Day, 2003
This brings to mind a wonderful Jim Croce ballad.
