After all of the earlier traffic on CSM Flournoy, I am curious of her current status and how she arrived there. Her CDR?

The thing that pisses me off the most I guess, is this could have been fixed months, years ago...And saved face for all, The Army, the unit, the Soldier.
While standing in the office with the Post IG...

"Angelia ..look I want you to sit down and read the reg, then fix your personal appearance in uniform.... If I see you again in unauthorized lipstick, shoes, or your hair looking like that, I'll move you to my staff, wait the required time period then personally right the relief for cause NCOER. You are a good NCO, you have the potential to be a great leader and an asset to the unit and Army.. So the choice is yours MSG....fix it or get out.... The IG and his team is standing by to clarify, define any point of the reg you have a question with..When you leave this office, have NO doubt or question as to the standard I expect and demand you uphold"

Amazing how the Army from the highest levels on down consciously chose to whitewash and downplay or basically ignore this egregious act of conduct. Can anyone speculate on how this came to be, who supported her at what levels and why they did so, and why higher command allowed it to go down this way. Is this some sort of E9 mafia behind the scenes ? Would sure like to know the backstory on how this came down. Ty for posting .

Capt Tom Brown My educated guess is, she was corrected many times, but counted with "Shut up" "no Im not" "Go away or else" ..Not those words specifically, but those ideals.
Couple that with a senior chain of command that felt they could not address the issues without causing them selfs harm professionally, politically. likely there was Race, gender and other issues that would be called into question on any service member that called her out...Id like to think I would risk my career, my way of life which would affect my family and my reputation to force a correction or relief for cause on such a service member... But having never been in that predicament..perhaps i would have kicked the can down the road.

She evidently was savvy and nervy enough to play those inherent doubts and concerns within the system to the hilt for her maximum advantage. Bullying anyone who would personally confront her, and counting on the reticence of higher ups to not risk potential PC backlash. I just cannot understand the commanding general tolerating such from her. Blows my mind.

Capt Tom Brown, that's pretty much exactly what happened. Many lower enlisted tried to get her to correct herself, often citing the AR 670-1, and/or going to the Commander. She would tell them that it was not their place to say anything and that you "correct down, not up". It took someone in the unit posting this farce and crap leader on social media for it to get beyond the local chain-of-command and get it fixed.

Just goes to show what you get when an O-6 has his balls removed by the Political Correctness Police and then she gives him permission to scratch them occasionally.

THANK GOD I AM RETIRED

Contracting Command? That's strategic. High percentage of Civil Servants, not much "military" duty. Looks like the blast perimeter has been reduced.

After seeing this picture, I can see that she has many cards to play to fit any negative situation affecting her...
