How Likely is it that my DD 368 Will be Approved?

Wanting to switch to Air Force. Which level (company or battalion) has to sign off on my DD 368, and how likely is it for the Army to sign off on a DD 368?

From your company commander, all that was up to the first one star in your chain. Don't let anybody tell you any different.

Is it just my CO sir, or do I need to ask for it to be sent to BC, MEDCOM Commander, or others to be signed off sir?

It’s not an easy switch. The easiest way to switch to the AF is to wait for your enlistment to end and then see a AF recruiter.

Same thing applies to the Army National Guard or Army Reserve as an enlisted if you want to get out and switch to a different Reserve component. Officer Desiring to go into the irr will be very long. I had a friend who had to wait 5 months before he could go into the inactive ready Reserve as an officer

That is only for being released from the reserves. If you search these forums you will see that the Air Force has been telling active duty army people that they can sign a 368 and be released to the Air Force. That's simply not true. The only way to be released from active duty early to be separated under the provisions of a r 635 - 200.

SGT (Join to see) you ETS and receive an Honorable Discharge, or get Chaptered. "Chaptered" is short for being separated under the Chapters of AR 635-200. All the ways to separate are in there, including ETS.
