RP Members and Connections - Today's post from SSG Eric Burleson is a little more like a typical blog, with one caveat. Whenever Eric spoke at any veteran event, he always gives these four pieces of advice. That's because
Each one serves an important purpose for the transitioning veteran. (Check out the 4 Things in the article)

So everyone in the military is an alcoholic who needs therapy? Can go along with the finding friends recommendations but have feeling author had some bad experiences in or with military.

Have to agree. I for one rarely drank while in the military, and after one or two experiences, never to excess.

Not me. I drank heavily, at times. But I recognized - before it was too late - I was becoming an alcohollic, self medicated myself, and quit drinking. I do, from time to time drink a beer or wine, but always with a meal. For tge last ten years or so, I have been almost completely sober. My Dad was a worthless drunk for years. Didn't want to end up like him.
