One missed point was to be concise and as short as possible. In today's business landscape a long email is an unread email.

I agree with all participants here that provided their input. I would add high-level and concise discussion points (no more than 3) from the interview (especially if there were business issues discussed) to reinforce the idea that you are interested and excited about potential opportunity

Clear, Concise, Short, and to the Point. Don't make yourself look foolish and tell the recipient that you messed something up, but update your response with more information, or allow them to open the door and inquire about your responses.
