It's official!!! ETAC/usveteranjobs.com is now officially part of Victory For Veterans Foundation (victoryforveterans.org). I have gifted my company to this wonderful Veteran focused 501(c)(3) non-profit and I have accepted a seat on their Board of Directors.
I am very excited. This will allow us to attack Veteran Suicide head on. Together, we have one focus; RESTORING HOPE and PURPOSE. Employment, Community, Brotherhood...these things cure hopelessness.
I hope you will join me in the fight, as a non-profit we are doing this to help them. All donations (volunteer time and money) go to them. We will be announcing many new things in the coming days but you can visit either the usveteranjobs.com or victoryforveterans.org and get involved today.
I thought these quotes were fitting; both for the Veterans we are helping as well as capturing my outlook on life today. This decision has created a great deal of uncertainty with my own financial situation, but sometimes its the sacrifices you do for others that reward you the most.
The picture is a fossil I found on the side of the road in Colorado on a cross country trip years ago.

We're establishing a community outreach program where RallyPoint Members, Connections, and Friends (or) anyone in the United States can sign up and volunteer in the near future to help our brothers and sisters across this country through outreach, mentorship, coaching, and caring; by getting the word out in their communities, putting veterans and service members in touch with our various programs and events, and connecting us with those individuals that want to volunteer in our network to make a difference. Coming soon to the VFV Website you can actually sign-up to provide your time and talent toward building a better future and tomorrow for our veterans and service members that need us the most.
