Hard to believe how effective something as simple as washing your hands can be...

A1C (Anonymous) - This is scary, I never thought of the person who put out cups and glasses at a meeting. Good for you for thinking of calling her for an "emergency"! This year, I've become more aware of not only washing your hands, but then not grabbing the door knob or escalator with them. There's also likely to be germs on menus at restaurants, seat arms and tray tables in a plane, and seat arms in a movie theater.

A1C (Anonymous) - Yes, unfortunately some supervisors get really upset when you actually ask them to do their jobs. I've seen many of them. And yes, I too am a little more careful with things like "who washed my fork and knife, etc" than I used to be.

A1C (Anonymous) - You are so very right. And the understanding that things need to improve, and as the supervisor, it's your responsibility to do that. Often, they like things just like they are. Unfortunately I have seen way too many like this. Especially in the federal government.

Living in an area ranked as the #6 most susceptible area for flu, just use common sense.
