I've had an appeal which already was seen by a judge and agreed with me/doctors to grant my increase. This has been 7 years now. I've been told my claim is in Washington and VBA has no control over it.
How can I find out where my claim actually is and when I might get a reply?

I've been turn down for increase disability for the last 10 years. I'm only at 10%, and I have had over 10 surgeries since 2005. But they refuse to increase my disability, saying that it's not military connected. How would they know, if they never did what I had to do in the Army. I drove an Howitzer, and ran PT for 8 years. Fought overseas, and endure mental and physical breakdown. That's a lot of wear and tear on the body. Can someone please help me with my appeal. I don't know why it's going to take me 10 years or more to have my appeal heard. By the time my appeal is heard, I'll be to old to enjoy what I fought for the right to live my life financially free like others.
Someone please tell me why this country is more eager to give our tax payers money to foreign countries, rather then help vets like me with medical conditions.

I agree with you...somewhere it say send a copy of ones DD 214 to prove what..the people that look at the DD 214 do not use it with claims..in fact they tell you they judge your or my claim straight from the book..our DD 214 is just a piece of paper. It do not matter anymore what you did while serving and it can be documented in ones medical records do not help a claim..but if any of them is prior service member I bet there claim got approved..we and some other Vets I read about get a big write up denied. Lucky you are near to get help with your claim. In other Country one is up the creek without a paddle.

No person that went in the MILITARY to serve and PROTECT there COUNTRY (USA) received injuries doing training exercises or deployed to a WAR zone..got medical boarded or discharged got out at the end of there enlistment applied for medical compensation SHOULD not have to seek outside help to prove there claim if there DD 214 is reviewed the has the member military history to prove what he or she duties was. When this happen it put more fear that the no one is there to help with there medical issues..when it take 5, 10, 15 or 60 years (I read for some) to get a claim approved and there is some VETS pass away claim still wasn’t approved is totally BS. Who ever told the recruiters to tell young men and women who want to do a service for Country and or looking for a career that UNCLE SAM will take of you is LIES and BS. The people from the President down that suppose to make sure we are helped with our medical issues to busy thinking of themselves big pay raise, time off and lying about making it better for the VETERANS instead it’s getting worse. For us that constantly fighting to get our medical claims issues approved we get in return more forms to fill out because we use the wrong to submit oh and DENIED..lol
