I wonder what will happen when he runs out of other peoples money? This is lunacy. Rewarding/compensating people for not working or for not shooting others will not work. This is not bold, it is lawlessness.

I'm glad he mentioned the Alaska Permanent Fund and indirectly the Permanent Fund Dividend feature of that State law and program. The list of requirements for Alaskans to benefit from that program could be used as a model for his program, but consistent funding/revenue will still be a problem.

There's still a lot of details he and his team needs to work out like eligibility requirements; restrictions if any on what the funds could be used for; if it's to be funded by non-profit and private donations I assume there will be limits on the number of participants based on annual funding; what's the end state for each individual in the program for 18 month? Is a hard working individual going to be embarrassed with taking supplemental income if they are a full time employee? I'd tell that person to just ask a soldier, sailor, or airmen if they are embarrassed by receiving BAH or BAS which in a way is supplemental income to their base salary and those individuals are hard working low-middle income Americans depending on the rank.
The moment someone suggests this is a taxpayer funded program, the program is dead. If private entities want to provide assistance to individuals, that is on them.
