Who Broke Periodic Review at Guantanamo Bay?

To argue for the release of 9/11 plotter and financier Ammar al-Baluchi is disingenuous and treasonous, in my opinion. This Lawfare Blog posting, written by the unlawful combatant detainee's defense attorney, ignores the alleged crimes committed by his client, detailed in his Guantanamo Docket, published here by the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/projects/guantanamo/detainees/10018-abd-al-azizali/documents/5 The Docket is only three pages long, but says all we need to know about the detainee.
I am personally sick and tired of Lawfare, of all organizations, perpetuating the act of "lawfare" on the US justice system by these unlawful combatant Islamists who want to kill us. How about every once in a while publishing something remotely loyal to the United States of America and all we stand for; freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
How about a discussion on the fact that the Geneva Conventions do not recognize any extra legal privileges for those who break the Law of War? How about a discussion on how when in WWII, 6 of 8 German saboteurs, caught dry foot in the United States, were denied habeas corpus, tried by military commission and then executed less than 8 weeks after their capture?
What's different now?

It still amazes me how a lawyer, or lawyers, will defend these POSs without reservation. My MP Company did the first four Tribunals in 2004. We had a detainee lawyer, a Marine Major mind you, treat my soldiers like shit. All the while playing up his 'virtuous' detainee. One of my soldiers guarded this guy. This detainee had/has it good there.

Very good. Too good: FREE Qurans, prayer rugs/beads, halal and special Muslim holiday meals, white robes, beards, directions to Mecca, services of US military Muslim chaplains, world class health care including vision and dental, recreation, TV, DVD's library, sports, etc. American lawyers are taught to WIN. American lawyers are rewarded for WINNING. Watch older movie, Al Pacino, "And Justice For All." Unlawful combatant Islamists who want to kill us have earned ZERO rights under international and US law. Yes, I said "earned." Rights cannot exist without responsibilities. Combatants have the responsibility to fight according to the Geneva Conventions and Law of War, if not, they are not entitled to their protections. Period.
