Everybody has that once muscle group that hate training, for me it's Legs, I'm quite the opposite as most people love training legs but not me, probably because I'm 6ft 4 with a large build naturally and with that it doesn't take much for me to build my legs except for my calves but then again my calves are also the length of my arms. What say you all and why do you dislike training something?

Its kind of a cliche response but..my answer would be, the brain .....All the rest get worked hard during my daily activity ( I dont go to a specific building and lift weights, I lift heavy things, carry heavy things, run, jump, drop, kick, bend over, stand up thousands of times in a week..) Though I do go to Golds for specific muscle fitness training needs when required for recovery.|
The other muscles, they get worked, and there is pleasure in that work,,you see results. The brain, it hurts in a differnt way to work it, and the results are not usually tangible.

I haven't worked out since almost dying last November. When I did, the chest was my least favorite due to the arthritis in both wrists, as well as tendinitis in the left wrist.

I would reccomend machines then instead of free weights and wrist wraps if you do free weights, I use braces for my elbows for the same reasons

SSgt Paul Esquibel - Actually, doing lighter weights might be another solution. I too had severe knee pain that made it difficulty for me to walk at times. I virtually cured knee pain through weight training. They still ache on occasion, but not as severe and not every day like they did before. The key is to start very light and work your way up slowly. As the muscles grow stronger, they will relieve the joint pain.

That is if anybody's still interested. I see these are a year old.

Most guys prefer chest day. Few I know even do a real leg day. Ab exercises bore me. Therefore, I prefer to do compound exercises that build core strength and balance. Dumbbell pullovers, Pullups with my legs out, and pistol squats are my favorites.

same here, I usually have to do abs in between my sets so I will do my standard 5 sets per exercise and after the 4th do 25 of something, which kind of gives me a break from the lift but still keeps my heart rate up and then come back and finish my last set which is usually at least a 10-15lb increase

I hate chest day because I have Gibbon arms. Agree with boring abs (especially since you can't see them), but when they're toned, its an instant sign of fitness regardless of age. There's this one guy on youtube that's 68 with a 6-pack. I said I want to be that guy.
