Snapping fingers, whistling, and cat-calling are never good ways to attract somebody's attention SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
I was reminded that not everybody can snap their fingers, blow bubbles with bubble gum or whistle.
I was chastised for not being able to skip in kindergarten which is recorded on my kindergarten report card :-)
I didn't learn how to skip until I enlisted and was taught change step march :-)

That was the only comment on my kindergarten report card Sgt Vance Bonds. As far as we knew we were graded on naps, play time, eating graham crackers with milk and behaving okay :-)
It still brings a smile to my faces of my family when we see that comment :-)

I was wrote up in high school for Skipping, and had to go to summer school to make up the credit. Lol
But I had a good excuse, my best friend and I would skip school and go swimming and look for sea shells for our shell collections. I still have a sea shell collection today, and every time I look at the shells, each shell tells me a great memory and makes me smile.

My fingers won't snap even when trying to stay in tempo. They just slide off one another.
