Why Is It So Hard for Some Recruits to Get Contraception?

I'm going to give some of you who don't have a menstrual cycle a bit of insight onto why women get birth control. It's not always to prevent pregnancy.
Some who menstruate need birth control to manage their cycles or the pain that comes with it. There are a multitude of reasons why someone would need birth control.
On the pregnancies mentioned - why people have sex in basic I don't know. I heard about it when I went and didn't understand especially out in the field. Also realize that some of those pregnancies are caused by the cadre too. It's not all recruit - recruit sexual relationships. Drill sergeants/DI are having sex with the recruits and cadre as well.
So some of you can get off your high horse about it. It doesn't really matter why someone needs birth control it should be accessible.

Why are recruits in need of contraceptives during boot camp.... I am sure screwing like rabbits is not a part of basic training

Your not a woman you haven’t been through female boot camp you can’t understand what’s going on unless you listen no I’m not admin or in control of you. Your rite there’s no need to call names but that’s something you need to get over. Your comments are not supported by any facts but you want to call the one person that has facts to support their argument a liar? Bend your knee? As far as hypocrite goes I made my statement this is up to active duty and contractors to handle. You like most of us on here are nobody’s! And going to do nothing to solve this. I get this isn’t something you care about or something us as men have to deal with. But it’s people with the same mindset as you deciding a woman’s biology right! So if you can provide facts as to why this isn’t a real problem I might entertain your next comment..

The better question is, why would recruits need contraception? If someone can't fight sexual urges in the short period of time during training, maybe they don't have the discipline to be in the US military.
