Good afternoon my friend Maj Marty Hogan and thanks for leading of with a daguerrotype from the second battle of Manassas AKA Bull Run. It is interesting to see what seems to be smoke looking back at the federal cannon firing line. I expect this shot was captured after the battle since no photographer would have set up in front of firing cannons.
My darling wife and I are resting/relaxing at home today.
