CRAZY! I grew up learning how to write in cursive...so did my children, but here in Texas for the past several years, children have NOT learned Cursive. What the heck?!?! now that these kids are older, they are having a difficult time because they cannot read or write in cursive...some of these kids have to sign documents and cannot because they actually do not know how to write their names in cursive. Who ever had this bright idea of taking CURSIVE out of teaching in school.....OH MY GOSH! and why did Texas and other states let this happen in the first place. I'm glad they have come to their sense and have realized what a really BAD idea this was. Cursive is being put back in school.

It's been that way here for about 20 years. My daughter had 3 weeks of cursive (all lower case) I had to teach her upper case so she could sign her name, it's insane sister. Sgt Kelli Mays

DEFINITELY! The people’ who took cursive writing out of the curriculum were probably the same people who did away with Junior High, and put 6th graders in ‘Middle School’ with 7th & 8th graders! DOORKNOBS! LOL
