Thank you, my friend Maj Marty Hogan for posting your daily summary of events for the date - the image of Churchill, FDR and Stalin seated together at the end of the Yalta conference [February 4 -11, 1945] is interesting in many respects - the two native English speakers are engaged in conversation while Stalin looks stoically onwards.

(9 Feb 1945) Story 3, YALTA CONFERENCE (ARGONAUT), CRIMEA, RUSSIA, 111 ADC 3276, 9 Feb 1945, b/w, mute

01:12:35- Stalin at his side-
01:12:57- nice shots illustrating collaboration of the Big 3.
01:13:19- These are especially good views of FDR coughing and looking not well.
01:13:54- CU of Churchill

Thank you brother Stephen. I have seen the photo many times but never the film.
Roosevelt looks frail in this video and it wouldn't be long before he was gone.
A great piece of celluloid my friend!

Today should be a day of mourning. The Yalta Agreement consigned eastern Europe, specifically Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania to 45 years under the Soviet Russian boot. Far and away the worst thing either FDR or Churchill ever did.
