Once upon a time, a WWII member of the 10th Mountain Division gifted me his Ski & Mountain Troop Handbook from 1943.

The turn descriptions, are still accurate and used today.

Now that I’m over 80, I get free passes. I’ve said it before. When I joined in Army in 1956, I had been so inspired by the 10th Mountain troopers who I knew, that I tried to join the ski troops. My recruiter told me there no more ski troops and I became a Russian linguist and analyst BUT got to ski California powder while at the language school and race on an Army ski team in Europe while stationed there so I got my ski troops.

You look like a 30 year old National Ski Patrolled. God keep you healthy and strong.
