My first unit is a Cav unit and I recently got my Stetson. Am I allowed to wear the Stetson in civilians?

I’m just curious I’ve seen some of the guys in my unit do it but idk what is regulation cause I’m going to a country music festival and I wanted to rep my unit and wear my Cav Stetson.

buy a cowboy hat and a cav pin. put the pin on that hat. I would not wear your issue Stetson to a music festival. what if it gets lost or damaged?

I can’t stress this enough. If a cowboy hat has tassels, it’s stripper attire. But wear it to the music festival. If you’re lucky, it’ll get lost or stolen.
