As a 19 year old "kid" in Vietnam . . . I grew up, and fast! To this day, having survived Vietnam, losing a child, a somewhat ugly divorce, and a loved one's stroke, I feel that I can (and do) handle anything that's thrown at me.

The ability to say to any situation, "I can do this" instead of wondering if I could do it. That is the difference between being successful or failing; the confidence to believe in yourself.
