Do you know your character strengths? I did the VIA Survey while I was in the Master Resilience Course at University of Pennsylvania. The results were not what I expected, but it was a growth area with my self-awareness.
Each one of us possess all 24 of the VIA character strengths in varying degrees making up our own unique profiles. The VIA Classification of Character Strengths is comprised of 24 character strengths that fall under six broad virtue categories: wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance and transcendence . They are morally and universally valued, encompass our capacities for helping ourselves and others and produce positive effects when we express them. CSM (Join to see) thanks for the information. Will have to try the character strength survey. Being happy and knowing ones self is the key IMO.

Always good to know who you are as it helps understand how you effect and interact professionally and personally in relationships as well as in group dynamics. Top strength was bravery and from their description sounds about right.
"If Bravery is your top strength, you are a courageous person who does not shrink from threat, challenge, difficulty, or pain. You speak up for what is right even if there is opposition. You act on your convictions."
I know with me there can be a negative side to this that needs to be balanced as I don't really care if your happy - more so if its right or wrong. As well this tendency not surprisingly gets me in to trouble.

My top.strength was perseverance. I believe it goes hand in hand with the TENACITY most believe I exhibit.
