Good morning Kerry and I hope you have a productive meeting today!
Recognition is a powerful tool in a leader's tool box. It doesn't have to involve monetary awards; in fact, some of the most powerful don't involve any money at all. Just standing someone up in a group and explaining why this parson has been a stellar performer can often do so much as a motivator. I've seen it in action. But it is important to understand what motivates each person on your team and choose your recognition of their work accordingly.

I expect you give honor to who honor is due and that you celebrate as you honor the accomplishments of those you lead as well as those who serve you. I hope you recognize that demonstrating respect to each person you interact with and encouraging others to demonstrate respect is a primary principle in improving the lives of each of us. I expect that you are spiritually mature enough to be a servant leader. No doubt you are honorable and conscientious. ‘For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. [1 Peter 2:15-17 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I pray that YOU open the eyes and ears of each adopted son and daughter who reads this prayer or listens to it. I am thankful that YOU enable us to learn from both good and bad examples in person and vicariously from YOUR word. I pray for endurance in good works and sufficient fruit of the Spirit goodness and self-control. Empower us to follow YOUR example of serving. 'If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.' [John 13:14-15 ESV] Fill us afresh Holy Spirit and enable each to be aware of the gifts You are providing to us to serve and bless. 'As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.' [1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV]

No doubt that you are wise enough to recognize that each person is unique, there is no secret to leadership, and you understand that genuine leaders focus on serving those they lead, are led by and work with. I expect that you have great respect for the noble values that United States attempted to live up over the centuries particularly true and justice. I hope you are increasingly fair in your treatment of individuals, speech to and about others, and transactions. I hope your foundation is rooted solidly in the atonement of the Christ. I pray that you and I are motivated to seek justice for others. ‘Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” [Psalm 82:3-4 ESV]

I pray that each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are parents, guardians or grandparents recognize that mental health is more important than physical health for children. I pray that the parents are very capable of teaching and demonstrating reasoning skills in conversation and forming logical arguments to solve issues. I pray that their children learn these important lessons while young. ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.’ [Proverbs 22:6 ESV]

I lift the abused, the sex-trafficked, slaves, street walkers, runaways, the suicidal, and other denizens of the night to YOU LORD. YOU allow evil to seem to triumph for a season. YOUR patience was sufficient for each of us to recognize our need for salvation in response to the earnest prayers of the saints for our salvation. I pray that YOU deliver as many of the abused, the sex-trafficked, and slaves from their tormentors and that YOU regenerate the soul of most of them as a many of their tormenters as YOU are willing. ‘The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. [1 Timothy 1:15-17 ESV]

I pray that you and your family members slept well Saturday night and each awoke refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
