I've only located 2 (one who passed away) in the last 3 years on Facebook. Looking in several military sites like vet friends, buddies, the 82nd on FB etc...

I had several buddies still there when I left in 77. You may know Kauffman, Ottwell, Steel, Garcia, Magby or Lopez.

I landed there in early '78. I'm Lopez too. I think I remember a Kauffman & of course, Danny Garcia, Sgt Ackerman (Daddy-Ack). Did you have to go to the fields & set-up all this equipment, tents with showers, laundry vehicles...etc? Work in motor pool at home base? ugggh! It was brutal. In addition to pt in our boots.
