I think that Europe is perfectly capable of committing cultural suicide without our help, don't you? Now, if any uninvited aggressors show up and they cry out for help, I'm sure that we'll be there again.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - If they don't want millions dead, instead of heavily relying on the US as they do now, wouldn't an additional 0.8% GDP increase be worth not losing millions? We hardly lost any civilians during WWII and 450,000 war dead, Europeans lost millions, mostly civilians. Sounds to be to be in their best interest to pay a little more and have US support than stonewalling us, paying a lot more, and not getting our support till millions dead.

Hopefully, Frau Merkel doesn't expect us to feel sorry for her. She opened her borders to a foreign invasion of Germany & Europe & prefers to criticize others who don't follow her example. With allies like that, we're better off taking care of our own business & our own borders.
