I was there and ran Medina Jabal White cell for about three years. Don't worry, it's fun, and easy once you get a battle rythm. After a while, it's like clock work. Hopefully people don't over hype the job; although important, it is not one to stress unless your time management skills are low. Any more questions, just DM/ INBOX/ PM me.

Lots of coordination, expectation is you'll know everything, every body and reality will be different. You will be working with several civilian in charge of the log stuff, as well as signing for a ton of equipment or having others do that. Not normally an Junior NCO position because of the amount of planning, tracking and who you have to work with.
As of 2013 I compleated 14 NTC rotations as playter unit, 6 more as an augmentee. How did it go? I hated each and every one...lol

Either I impressed someone or someone hates me. When they said BN NCOIC I figured they were mistaken, no such luck!

White Cell at NTC is the responsibility of the incoming BCT. On avg a White Cell is 200 personnel of various ranks usually led by a CPT and a MSG and there will be a size able portion on profile or duty limitation. Duties range from the Mayor Cell, transportation to the airport and rail head, housing, DFAC support, HAZMAT support in the box, medical personnel will run a small aid station and then there will be a myriad of duties during RSOI to support the unit moving into the box such as developing the CL IV build, police call of the motor pool and receiving injured Soldiers from Weed Army Clinic and returning them to their tents until their next scheduled appointment.

All I know of FT Irwin was my time as BLUFOR and OPFOR. Not a clue about White Cell.
