I did an Extension, and it didn't show in the system 2 months later. Shows I ETS'd and now have lost benefits. Any Solutions?

In January, I did a 2-year extension with the Texas Army National Guard. In March, after my old ETS date, I found out that I had lost Tricare and all my benefits as it shows that I ETS'd in DEERS. I contacted my Readiness NCO/Career Counselor and she explained to me that the TXARNG is switching from SIDPERS to IPPS-A and that my contract never made it into DEERS due to the information being transferred, but my State J-1 had received it. I was directed to call NGB-DEERS Project Office, however, they seem to have closed due to the COVID-19 mania. And the DEERS Help Desk Civillians are no help as they direct me back to the NGB project office. Are there any possible solutions to this issue? I have lost TRICARE Reserve Select & Dental, as well as my Life Insurance, and I am unable to be mobilized when the time comes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First things first, contact your retention NCO and get a copy of your extension paperwork. Make sure it is the signed copy. Next, go to your readiness NCO with said paperwork. If your readiness NCO can’t help, go to your 1SG with the afformentioned paperwork, next commander, and so on and so fourth until somebody can fix this mess you’re in MSG (Join to see)

SGT, in this case my Retention NCO is my Career Counselor and she said there is nothing she can do at this point other than to keep putting my contract in the system. However she said if she does so, it will show a break in service. My NCO Support Channel and CoC have both said they have no idea what to do as it should show up in the system. Thank you!

I experienced something similar once, due to a different clerical error in my contract I ETS'd on paper during an AT period. The good news is that this can be fixed. The bad news is that it can be a long process, I believe it was two-months before I received my back pay.
