The best civilian leadership training and how it compares to military?

Have you participated in ANY civilian leadership training programs? If so, which ones and how do they stack up to military leadership training ?

I've been to numerous civilian leadership classes while I was with a large telecommunications company, they did not compare. There was zero stress placed on us and there was no Go/NoGo structure. So, it wasn't taken seriously.

The only civilian leadership training I've had has been Skillport classes. As with most of the other Skillport classes, while I fulfilled the completion requirements and earned the promotion points, I didn't learn anything to speak of.
