I saw this video and got angry. Just like almost everyone here in RP, I did this training and it was not like this! The intent is to show that the mask really works. These instrutors went beyond the scope of the training, especially when the one recording is laughing! I think these instrutors should be decertified and disciplined. If I am off, please advise.

I concur. The purpose of the chamber is to instill confidence in our equipment. There's no need for hazing as the environment is foreign enough to new recruits.

The female recording laughing really hit a nerve with me. She should NOT be recording. She should be watching her soldiers, keeping them in line and helping them though this. The chamber is a valuable tool if done right. allows soldiers to not only trust equipment but their leaders. However it is also valuable to the leaders as they get a better idea of the ones who react more with fright. It is the closest soldiers in training come to fear of not making it. as soon as your chest feels like it caves and you can barely see. You feel alone, scared, confused, Angry (i did anyway), and vunerable. It's the one chance to see if they depend on their team, their leaders, or do they freak out and try to escape, or freeze.
