The current estimate is that 94 ISIS terrorists were killed in the blast, of an estimate 800 ISIS fighters in Afghanistan according to the CIA.
On the other side of the Pakistani border, villagers assumed they were under attack. The blast was so loud they believed the Americans were targeting terrorists in Pakistan.

Thanks for a good explanation of what happened. Why can't we find decent reporting like this in the big 3: ABC, NBC and CBS?

You're correct. Reporting has always been bias but it seems like they came off at the wheels since Trump was elected President.

The 36 initial puddles were scooped up because they were outside. The other 60 were probably in tunnels with outside access. How many were buried in the deeper tunnels will likely never be known.
