I am not sure why the BS report of Trump watching urine being put on a bed was passed to the FBI. I was unaware that urinating on a bed in Russia was a matter for the FBI. Do we now do Health Department Inspections for Russia? I did not think that was the FBI work. Just not sure how that would go into a US Intell Report.

SFC (Join to see) - Really? ;-) Interesting that major commercial production of Estrogen from horse urine for HRT purposes has been going on since 1941 or there about (if I have my facts correct). Things a farm boy picks up while growing up.
Urine has also been used to produce explosives and in the tanning process. (For those that do not know better, that is in tanning of animal hides.)

EDIT - Maybe that is where Donald's orange tint comes from!

SSG Robert Webster - lol.... I think he would look younger if he used Urine Theropy methods.... I didn't know about tanning hide but I didn't know it was also used for leather shoes. Makes sense. :)

We (the USA) have a long way to go before our governmental intelligence agencies are back up to where they should be. A prime example is the FBI and the CIAs failure with the so-called "Trump Dossier" that is currently causing problems for everyone known to be involved.

Here is my latest statement about that affair - First anyone that believes the claptrap produced by Chris/Christopher Steele of Orbis Business Intelligence (if this is his and his company's work product) you are a fool.
Next if you have such regard for the FBI and CIA Intelligence Reports in regards to this matter, that even support this "junk", you are just a tool. Anyone out there know, remember, or care to know (some of you are too young to remember or have first hand knowledge) Aldrich Ames?
How many of you know, remember, or care to know about the "Church Commission/Committee" (Democrat-led)? Or how the reports generated by that group assisted President Carter in eviscerating the CIA, also known as the "Halloween Massacre?"
And let us not forget the 20 to 30 percent cuts/gutting of the CIA during President William Jefferson Clinton's time in office. And for those of you inclined to blame Bush 41, it was Congress that did the cuts, not Bush, Clinton carried them on.

And last but not least; some words of wisdom from someone else -
Intelligence officials will tell you there is really no such thing as a "friendly" intelligence service. No one tells you all of his secrets; some of it might even be purposefully misleading. It becomes your job to figure out what is fact and what is fiction.
Some of my own words of wisdom:
A number of our own intelligence personnel have either forgotten or deliberately ignored the very caveat stated above. Some on this very forum.

And do not forget, Mr. Steele's reputation is built on his service in support of the United Kingdom AND NOT the United States of America.

Agreed SSG Webster, I believe most of the Intel issues started with Sen Frank Church and his influence in passing of FISA. It wasn't really until recently that (last 20 years) presidents and or senates needed to pass further regulations that either demanded exposure or demanded how government bureaus can monitor each other! An example time line that I have been following since 2001 after my enlistment goes something like:

Oct 2001: Patriot Act
Oct 2003: Vacuum cleaner servalaince of the internet
Dec 2005: Warrentless Wire tapping
March 2006: Patriot Act Renewed
2006: Courts authorize collection of call data
Jan 2007: Bush admin says surveillance now operating with court approval
Aug 2007: Congress expands surveillance powers
Sep 2007: Prism Begins
Jul 2008: Congress renews broader surveillance powers
Apr 2009: NSA ‘overcollects’
Feb 2010: Controversial Patriot Act provision extended
2011: Patriot Act renewed, again ( which interestingly was the first time in history was done with a "auto Pen!" Because Oboma couldn't be bothered to be present!
March 2012: Senators warn cryptically of overreach
July 2012: Court finds unconstitutional surveillance
Dec 2012: Broad powers again extended
April 2013: Verizon order issued
June 2013: Congress and White House Response to Verizon Order.

There are of course more in between happenings, however; as you can see through out resent history. And I'm sure if we go back further we would find the same song and dance. But if you look at some of the time lined events you will notice that one Bureau is behind, in front, beside, possibly even all around involved in all of these and many more "unknown" investigations or servailances. So my question would be, though it's good to look at each individual bureau? I find that by doing this, we are waisting our efforts, time intelligence resources on the wrong bureaus and Intel.

If we have to regulate investigation on possible spies and terrorists because it might hurt someone's feelings and give them time to cover there tracks and or pass the buck if you will. Then the conclusions in my opinion will always lead to one person. But because I value life I will leave this as is. Lol...

Every president starts there term of service off pulling the Intel card and cleaning house card. But in the end, even spies and terrorist have more rights.

This is a great subject over tea and crumpets, but a subject like life itself is and will be stuck in its current position. Our government continues to TALK about intelligence reform only to appease the bureaucratic system and assure the civilian population that there tax dollars are being well spent and in their interest.

My experience in the Intel field is that you don't know who the good ones are, you can't risk letting any "bad ones" out of your sight (I.e. Retirement), but You need Intel you can trust. So what do they do? Hire more Intel to watch the current "Good" Intel who are keeping tabs on the "bad" Intel and give incentive to those "loyal" Intel of promised honor and glory for their loyalties! So on and so fourth. Hence the explosion of added and probably unessisary Federal and even state bureaus.

If our government spent more time fighting the curruption and less time watching each other! Cause realistically, if your Intel and your that good, chances are your REALLY good at handing blame off and can cover your tracks like an apache scout. This is just my miled short, senssative opinion on this on going subject.

Great article though, thank your for the share Jim :)
