Who gets money in Vets Day raffle?

What do you think RP Members?

There's disagreement over whether the name of one of the Michigan Lottery's latest games is misleading.

Marshall was unhappy to learn only 3% of the gross proceeds from the raffle will go to support veterans, through the National Guard Association of Michigan.
State Rep. Harvey Santana, D-Detroit, a U.S. Navy veteran who took part in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, said the fact only 3% of the Veterans Day raffle is going to help veterans is "another smack in the face."

Veterans "don't ask for a lot of help" and are frequently honored through parades and other symbolic gestures, but "when it comes to getting the help we need, there's always another excuse," Santana said. "This lottery is more of the same."

The raffle should stop being called a 50/50 OR, God forbid, Michigan could start giving a larger percentage to the NG Fund, say 10-15%?

WA state discontinued its veterans' raffle because they couldn't sell enough tickets...

I had never heard of the Vets Day raffle until you mentioned it COL Mikel J. Burroughs
To be brutally honest I am not the least bit supervised that only 3% of the proceeds go to benefit the organization ostensibly designated to receive the proceeds the National Guard Association of Michigan.
