Is there a feature to create a career map on RallyPoint? I have mine on a spreadsheet but would like to see an interactive career map on here. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for the support. I studied Business Admin and not IT.

MAJ Ken Landgren - No need, organizations have departments filled with in your own words, "good idea ferry's", its called the Research and Development (R&D). Thanks to their good ideas your able to troll posts like mine. Looks like your just out to for a good laugh so I'll thumb you up again.

1LT (Join to see) - I wanted you to know what can happen in real life. Let's say the 18th Airborne Corps G-4 needs data on closing costs of FOBs. The Good Idea Ferry in me says I have a two data points of FOBs closed. I opened my mouth, he wants good cost estimates when only tow FOBs have been closed. The Corps commander wants this information. I want you to be very judicious of what you say and who you say it too. Now that you are riled up, I think you will remember my advice.

Outside of the career maps provided by each proponent, the most interactive version would be what you find on Army Career Tracker. It isn't perfect, but it is getting better. Of course one of the biggest problems is that it requires CAC access. Availability on here could be useful.

SGM, I have used the ACT and it has very good features. It's not very user friendly though. Also, I don't have CAC access at home and that's usually when I would have the time to add to my career map and share it with my wife.

I don't see the CAC requirements going away any time soon, there are just too many systems requiring it. CAC readers are fairly inexpensive and can be found at most big box stores and very easily online. You might need to bite the bullet and pick one up. I had my laptop built with one in it merely so I would have the convenience. It is paying off with everything being digitally signed now.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but it would take a lot more coding to incorporate that into Rally Point than it would be worth I think. Everyone will want to use a different format (such as your spreadsheet).

BUT perhaps a field with your next duty station "wish" or "goal" would be a nice addition to the profile? Maybe allow 3 choices in ranked order. Coding for something like that would be a lot simpler.
