IMO, What Obama is asking our allies to do takes a lot of gall, considering our allies are asking Obama for more involvement in the war on terror. That's like asking a group of you RP members to come down to Texas and kick someone's butt, and I'll sit back and watch. That dog don't hunt. It's unbelievable, what the Whitehouse does in world affairs these days. Concerning the terrorists, the U.S. isn't doing much about them, that they were doing before Paris. France and Russia are bombing the crap out of ISIS.
I guess I just don't understand politics and our POTUS.
And now for the rest of the story:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WASHINGTON — The White House urged allies Monday to do more in the campaign against the Islamic State, while President Obama faced pressure to show that the United States will intensify its own efforts within the coalition it leads.
Requests for more counterintelligence, military, and humanitarian assistance came a day before President Francois Hollande of France was set to arrive at the White House to discuss the fight against the extremists believed to be behind the Nov.13 terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people.
The requests occurred as the State Department issued a travel advisory, warning Americans to be alert to possible travel risks, especially during the holidays, following increased terrorist threats around the world.

Everybody wants the US to do More. Spend more of our Money, Send more of our Troops, Use more of our Resources. We are Pretty Outstanding but when do we "Just Say No". We will never leave our allies high and dry but I'm with the President and expecting more of them.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, Chip, we're going to be spending millions on the refugees from the same country ISIS is in. If and when they are all out of Syria, would be a good time to hammer them on their own turf. If we can afford to allow 10,000 refugees in our country we can afford to kill the ones they're running from, and be done with it. IMHO.

I would consider the Refugees an Investment in the Future (Maybe I'm right, Maybe I'm Wrong). Troops and Ordnance are just expenditures. Don't see a lot of gain there. If you work in the Military Industrial Complex I would expect you to be for it. I'm not anymore involved so my Perspective has changed. I was a Radical Hippy before I signed, 21 years I was a "Compassionate Conservative", Retired and realized there is no such thing as a "Compassionate Conservative" so regained my Radical Liberal Origins.
